Oasiscrete is a proprietary specialty concrete paving designed to cool the ambient temperature in hot and arid climates. Oasiscrete (Marketed as Barjeelcrete in Arabic speaking regions) is a unique application of open-voided high porosity concrete over a water retention membrane with an intermediate water dispersal network. This special matrix (installed by trained and licensed contractors) allows for the water to pass upwards through the section via capillary action and provide ambient cooling through the process of evaporative cooling or as we call it "Microasis". This cooling effect from the ground up can be used to cool hardscapes of many types. This revolutionary system provides several degrees of cooling and works in conjunction with overhead misting cooling devices to provide the most efficient cooling system possible for hot and dry climates around the world. Oasiscrete holds great potential for improving the quality of life for outdoor living in hot aid regions and greatly expands the utility of open-voided porous concrete. (Process Patent Pending)
