Description:
With the arrival of LEED 2012 comes changes to how concrete contributes to LEED points. This presentation will provide an overview of key changes to LEED 2012 that will affect the concrete industry. How will concrete be treated for Urban Heat Island Reduction? Will pervious concrete have the same impact as before? What about Recycled Content and Regional Materials? These and other questions will be answered in this overview of the new LEED system that will place more focus on life cycle assessment and less on prescriptive strategies for reducing environmental footprint.
